HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HORSE FOR A RUG

With a fabric tape measure or twine, measure from the middle of the chest where the rug would fasten, around the curves of the shoulder, following the body in a straight line to the furthest point of the hind quarters - but not all the way to the tail. We recommend measuring in cm for the most accuracy and to be sure you have got the correct measurement, it is a good idea to measure 2-3 times. This measurement can be used as a guide for your rug size, if you are still unsure please call 01254 279666 for further help.

Extra lightweight horse turnout rug provides the perfect protection on mild wet days. Horse rug liner attachments means you can easily increase the warmth of this heavy horse turnout rug on colder days.

This horse turnout rug comes with no filling for a 0g extra lightweight rain-sheet covering for your horse. Our Epic Classic horse turnout rugs feature an advanced waterproof and breathability rating as well as an added Teflon™ treatment to repel dirt and water. Easily increase the warmth on this horse turnout rug with the horse rug liner attachments at the wither area on the inside of the horse turnout rug and at the rear with an extra D ring by the leg straps.

This horse turnout rug is designed specifically for light - medium weight horses and ponies with a regular sized chest and neck. If you horse is a heavyweight, try our Broad Fit horse turnout rug.

This item is true to size and we recommend opting for your horse's usual size.

If your current horse rug is a good fit in length from your horse's chest - hind, try that same size in our horse rugs.

Customer feedback says the chest and shoulder area on our Regular Fit horse rugs are slightly more generous than other brands.

Great rug

Love this rug! My horse lives out 24/7 and I have found it almost impossible to find a no-fill rug that is absolutely waterproof, until I bought this.
Very generous fitting . I like the extra depth and the longer tail flap which does not blow up in the wind!

Rug review

Excellent fit for my rather square short coupled cob. Plenty of room in the chest and a good depth, tail flap a good length as well. Good value for money!

I now have 6 rugs for my bigger horses from you and I LOVE them!! They actually fit. They do not rub or pull - they fit as soon as they go on. The quality is great. No rip potential. The horses are always dry and warm underneath. Super happy with mine and well worth the money!
