As the temperatures start to drop, we always recommend opting for a heavy horse turnout rug with minimal filling like this. The slight filling acts as a gap between your heavy horse and the heavy horse turnout rug to help prevent the build up of condensation on the inside of the heavy horse turnout rug.

This item is true to size and we recommend opting for your horse's usual size.
If your current horse rug is a good fit in length from your horse's chest - hind, but you find the horse rug is tight at the chest area, try that same size in our horse rugs.
If you have sized up with your current horse rug to get more room in the chest and the overall length from chest-hind is too long, try the size down in our horse rugs.

This is a brilliant rug, loads of room in the shoulders and deep enough to cover her belly. I’ve got a big shire cross and most ‘normal’ rugs barely cover her.
Had it for 2 winters now and it’s wearing well so far, washes up nicely.
The light fill broad rug is just right for my fuller figure little cob. She can move around the field much better with the looser shoulder fit. Back end also no longer clinging, will buy again.
I had these rugs for my cob years ago and they were fantastic. I now have a Connemara whose front is enormous and no rug fits so I thought after trying others I’d come back to here……… nothing has changed, the fit is brilliant and he is warm and dry!!!! Such good rugs for chunky monkeys!
Fits a treat on my very broad gypsy cob. The cut of the neck means it’s doesn’t pull across his shoulders. Very pleased
