Good groundwork starts with the right equipment — and for heavy horses and draft breeds, that means training aids that actually fit. Standard cavessons are often too narrow or don't adjust far enough for horses with a broader, heavier head shape, which affects how they sit and how effective they are during lunging.
Our training aids are cut from our Broad Fit size chart, designed specifically for heavy horses and ponies with a draft-type head. Our Lunge Cavesson allows subtle, direct communication during groundwork and lunging without any pressure on the mouth — a kinder, more precise option than lunging from a headcollar or bridle. This is a discontinued range and stock is limited — once sold, it won't be restocked.
