Lunge your heavy horse with subtlety and precision with our Classic Lunge Cavesson — designed specifically for horses with a broad, draft-type head where standard cavessons simply aren't wide enough. Built to our Broad Fit size chart, this cavesson allows clear, quiet communication between handler and horse during lunging without placing any pressure on the mouth.

Unlike standard cavessons that are too narrow for broader head shapes and can slip, rub or sit incorrectly on the nasal bone, our Broad Fit design sits correctly on the nasal bone with a snug jowl strap to prevent slipping — giving you accurate, consistent contact through the three strategically placed D-rings. The padded noseband, headpiece and under jaw band are all detachable for easy washing, and the cavesson can be used over a snaffle bridle for combined work.
