The Classic 200g Stable Hood offers reliable warmth for cold nights in the stable giving your heavy horse the protection they need without compromising comfort or fit.

Purpose-built to pair seamlessly with our Epic Classic 200g stable rug, this medium weight neck cover is ideal for clipped horses or those that feel the cold more. It’s designed in our unique broad fit cut for heavier builds, ensuring pressure-free coverage for horses with thick, muscular necks like cobs, drafts, crosses, Iberians, and Shires.

Made from durable 420D breathable outer fabric with a Teflon coating to help resist stable stains, the hood is finished with an antibacterial, antistatic lining to help maintain a healthy shine and minimise mane rub.

For a secure, rub-free fit, it features:

• Double locking Velcro fastenings to attach to your Classic rug
• Wide adjustable neck closures to stay in place without pinching
• Base extension panel to eliminate gaps between hood and rug

If you have an Iberian horse, you may need a larger size than average. Customers with these breeds typically choose a Large or Extra Large depending on neck build.

• Small – For horses/ponies with short muscular necks. Typically fits 5'6 rugs.
• Medium – For horses/ponies with short muscular necks. Typically fits 5'9–6'3 rugs.
• Hunter – For horses with longer muscular necks. Typically fits 6'6–6'9 rugs. Same width as Medium but longer in length.
• Large – For horses with thick muscular necks. Typically fits 6'9–7'0 rugs.
• Extra Large – For horses with very thick muscular necks. Typically fits 7'3–7'6 rugs.
