For those unpredictable days when it's sunshine one minute and light showers the next, our Classic Dri-Fly Rug delivers dual protection from biting insects and light rain — designed specifically for broader, heavier horses, keeping them fully protected no matter the forecast.
Unlike off-the-shelf sizing, every rug in our Broad Fit range is developed using measurements taken from real broader, heavier horses — so the fit is precise, not guesswork. Our fit-first design gives your horse complete freedom of movement, with a larger cut neckline to accommodate a broader chest, thick muscular neck and big shoulders. Lower chest fastenings that follow your horse's natural shape, eliminating pressure at the neck and over the wither. Extra large shoulder gussets give your horse unrestricted comfort without tightness or rubbing. The fixed integrated neck cover, designed specifically for muscular necks and long manes, features an extended length to match your horse's natural neck extension as they graze, preventing any gaps for biting insects to get in.
No more mini skirts! All of our rugs have the correct rug depth so your horse is fully covered and protected from the elements, including a substantial tail flap.

Buddy has a wardrobe of Big Horse rugs, he is a bit of a rug trasher, so at the age of 32 he needed yet another rug....which fits him well....and which so far it is in pristine condition....The image is of Harmony who is 18 and this is hers when it was clean....
Love this rug, colour looks amazing, my girl is a chunky 15hh cob usually in 6.6 however with the broad fit of this rug went to a 6.3’ 🥰
Wirklich eine super Decke die endlich auch mal passt, bei meiner Friesen x Vlaams Paard Mixstute. Perfekt für unbeständiges Wetter. Ein Bauchlatz wäre noch toll, damit die Fliegen nicht an Bauch kommen.

My order was sent soon, also I became answer about my questions and the epic classic draw fit is in a good qulity and it fit our biggest shire horse Jack ! This is a great rug which fits very comfortably. I love the way it gives room for my horse’s big neck and it is very good value. My only complaint is that it hasn’t rained yer 😂

Really pleased with this rug. excellent quality and fit (broad fit on 14.3 Irish cob) Mesh part is very robust compared to previous waterproof fly rugs I've tried and up to the usual high standard of all the Epic rugs I've bought.

My little cob is like a cube. He’s as broad as he’s long and this rug is the only one I’ve found that gives shoulder room.

Excellent rug! Fits my 17.2 shire-cross perfectly, broad chest, big shoulders & bum. He's sensitive skinned and prone to sarcoids so the longer neck ensures there's no gaps near his fly mask when grazing. The rug's very lightweight so he doesn't get hot and the waterproof strip protects him from rain scald. I love a bit of hi-viz so the "Sunrise" colour was my perfect choice!
Very efficient delivery, I purchased the 5’9” fly rug after measuring my pony twice along with the sizing, usually buy a 6’3” or 6’6”. Only just started to use this rug but do think a size or two larger would be more room around her shoulders.
