HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HORSE FOR A RUG

With a fabric tape measure or twine, measure from the middle of the chest where the rug would fasten, around the curves of the shoulder, following the body in a straight line to the furthest point of the hind quarters - but not all the way to the tail. We recommend measuring in cm for the most accuracy and to be sure you have got the correct measurement, it is a good idea to measure 2-3 times. This measurement can be used as a guide for your rug size, if you are still unsure please call 01254 279666 for further help.

This heavy horse stable rug comes with 200g of filling for a medium weight covering for your heavy horse. This medium weight heavy horse stable rug is ideal for cold weather stabling. 

All Epic heavy horse stable rugs feature an added Teflon™ treatment to help prevent stable stains from seeping through. Our Epic Essential heavy horse stable rugs are high quality, basic, no frills rug. The Epic Essential heavy horse stable rug range is our budget range but not budget quality.

This heavy horse stable rug is designed specifically for big shouldered horses and heavier breeds to accommodate the broader chest, shoulders and apple-bottom. If your horse is a light - medium weight, try our Regular Fit horse stable rug.

    Lovely rug

    Fits my big boy beautifully. He is big and broad shouldered and I struggle to find a rug that actually fits and this rugs fits him lovely. Will be purchasing more in the future.
