Ice blasts, bitter winds and sub-zero temperatures — our Epic Classic 200g Turnout Hood in Purple Diamond is built for exactly that. Pair it with the matching Classic 200g Turnout Rug and your broader horse has complete head-to-tail protection against the very worst of winter, with the same Dupont® Teflon™ coated outer throughout for consistent waterproof coverage from nose to tail.
Designed specifically for medium+, heavy horses, ponies and draft breeds with thick muscular necks and long manes.
- 200g thermo-bonded polyfill
- 1200 denier ripstop outer coated with Dupont® Teflon™ fabric protector
- Highly waterproof with a 7,000mm+ rating and an added membrane
- Highly breathable with a 5,000g/m2+ rating
- Breathable antibacterial and anti-static lining
- A larger cut neckline for thick muscular necks and long manes
- Length extension to match the horse's natural neck extension when grazing
- Base extension to prevent gaps between neck cover and rug
- Heavy duty double-locking velcro closure

International Customers

For customers with Iberian Horse's, you may need a larger size than this guide suggests. Typically these breeds require Large or Extra Large depending on how muscular their neck is.
All of our neck covers have a longer cut, this is so your horse is fully covered and protected whilst grazing. When your horse's head is down grazing it extends a further 10 - 15cm naturally. When trying on our neck covers, we recommend putting something on the ground to simulate grazing, this is when you will see if the length is right for your horse.
