Pair with the matching Essential No Fill Turnout Rug in Red and give your horse complete head-to-tail protection on mild, wet days. Our Epic Essential No Fill Turnout Hood attaches securely to the rug, keeping your horse dry and comfortable without adding any extra warmth.
Designed specifically for medium+, heavy horses, ponies and draft breeds with thick muscular necks and long manes.

For customers with Iberian Horse's, you may need a larger size than this guide suggests. Typically these breeds require Large or Extra Large depending on how muscular their neck is.
All of our neck covers have a longer cut, this is so your horse is fully covered and protected whilst grazing. When your horse's head is down grazing it extends a further 10 - 15cm naturally. When trying on our neck covers, we recommend putting something on the ground to simulate grazing, this is when you will see if the length is right for your horse.

Shoppers noted buckles no longer rust and the hood "fits perfectly" on wide horses. One customer mentioned sizing confusion, finding the XL too large. Delivery was quick and the hood attaches easily to existing rugs.
Absolutely top tear, quality rug and neck. Happy to say the buckles don't rust anymore, there seemed to be an issue with that with some of the older rugs.
Ordered XL used before realised it was too big. However when grazing it does cover his ears! Needed more guidance for sizing?
