HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HORSE FOR A RUG

With a fabric tape measure or twine, measure from the middle of the chest where the rug would fasten, around the curves of the shoulder, following the body in a straight line to the furthest point of the hind quarters - but not all the way to the tail. We recommend measuring in cm for the most accuracy and to be sure you have got the correct measurement, it is a good idea to measure 2-3 times. This measurement can be used as a guide for your rug size, if you are still unsure please call 01254 279666 for further help.

If your current horse rug is a good fit in length from your horse's chest - hind, but you find the horse rug is tight at the chest area, try that same size in our horse rugs.

Great rugs as always

I have far too many BHS rugs, I appear to be addicted to buying them. Every one is great, even the essential ones which as far as I can tell just have different clips on them. The material is the same so I know it will be totally waterproof and not leak. Lovely rugs. I do now go down a size as my ISH changed shape and the correct size was getting a little big around the chest. But one size down is perfect for him
