Extra lightweight horse turnout rug provides the perfect protection on mild wet days. Horse rug liner attachments means you can easily increase the warmth of this heavy horse turnout rug on colder days.
This horse turnout rug comes with 50g of filling for an extra lightweight covering for your horse. As the temperatures start to drop, we always recommend opting for a horse turnout rug with minimal filling like this. The slight filling acts as a gap between your horse and the horse turnout rug to help prevent the build up of condensation on the inside of the horse turnout rug
Our Epic Classic horse turnout rugs feature an advanced waterproof and breathability rating as well as an added Teflon™ treatment to repel dirt and water. Easily increase the warmth on this horse turnout rug with the horse rug liner attachments at the wither area on the inside of the horse turnout rug and at the rear with an extra D ring by the leg straps.
This horse turnout rug is designed specifically for light - medium horses and ponies with a regular sized chest and neck. If you horse is a heavyweight, try our Broad Fit heavy horse turnout rug.

For orders placed before 1pm Monday - Thursday and before 12pm Friday’s will be dispatched that same day.

Epic Classic 50g Turnout Rug - Regular Fit
I have a Shire x TB, 17hh mare with plenty of bone, I am so pleased with the rug. It covers her whole body including down the sides. For the first time ever I've found a rug that doesn't look like a ballet tutu on her ;)
I was especially pleased with the cover over the bum and tail, and can already confirm that this rug is fully waterproof. I will buy more rugs from the big horse shop now I've found them!
I cannot believe how well these rugs fit! Absolutely perfect for my mare who I thought was awkward shaped, turns out I just needed a brand that knows what shape a horse is!
