This waterproof heavy horse fly rug is designed specifically for big shouldered horses and heavier breeds to accommodate the broader chest, shoulders and apple-bottom. If your horse is a light - medium weight, try our Regular Fit waterproof horse fly rug.

The waterproof area along the back is wider than other makes, which was what what I wanted as my horse lives out 24/7, however, I wonder if it may make him sweat in very warm weather.

It fits my 18h Shire very nicely. My girl suffers from the flies. This rug is just what I was looking for – one that is light and won't make her hot but with the added benefit of a rain panel.
